Darren Edwards

Prior to forming Edwards Kirby Lawyers, Darren was a partner in a highly reputable firm with a presence in both Parramatta and Sydney. Darren has established himself as an elite commercial litigator and is often referred complex matters from other practitioners where dedication, experience and clout are essential. Darren has extensive experience in insolvency and has proven capacity to recover and defend preference claims, examining directors and related third parties and prosecuting and defending winding up proceedings.

Neil Kirby

Neil is a partner of Edwards Kirby Lawyers and a passionate advocate and is able to provide expert advice in a broad range of areas. Neil seeks to explore alternatives to court proceedings wherever possible and is sensitive to your needs for advice to be timely and cost effective. Neil has broad experience in the legal industry which has provided an opportunity to successfully practice in many areas of law including family law, contractual disputes, unrecovered debts, employment disputes, criminal law, traffic infringements and apprehended violence orders together with complicated estate disputes. Neil is also highly experienced in drafting Wills, Powers of Attorneys and advising in in leasing and conveyancing matters.

Prior to being admitted as a legal practitioner Neil volunteered in a community Legal Centre for three years which provided him with a wealth of knowledge and enabled him to provide access to the law to underprivileged communities. Following a clerkship in a prominent National firm, Neil was awarded the NSW Bar Association Prize for most outstanding student in Professional Legal Skills this foundation coupled with Neil’s years of experience ensures you are in safe hands.
